Chelsea are currently just two points off the top spot in the Premier League, and leading their Champions League Group.
It’s safe to say that things are going well so far this season and Frank Lampard’s side are picking up some really good momentum with recent form.
Games within 90 minutes, Chelsea have been unbeaten in the last 14 matches across all competitions, which is a great run of form.
They have tightened up at the back to have the joint best goal difference in the league so far, and they are scoring a lot of goals at the other end.
So who has been there best performers so far this season? We have taken a look at the excellent stats based website Who Scored, and picked out Chelsea’s Top 10 highest rated players in the Premier League according to them so far.
- Ben Chilwell (7.61)
- Kurt Zouma (7.35)
- Timo Werner (7.23)
- Antonio Rudiger (7.23)
- Mason Mount (7.22)
- Reece James (7.19)
- Tammy Abraham (7.13)
- N’Golo Kante (7.11)

Who Scored use a number of extensive and in-depth stats to rate players, and they are often looked as one of the best ways to judge a players performance. A lot of it can be appearance dependent, obviously, so it is worth taking that into account.
The surprise takes from Chelsea’s top ten is Antonio Rudiger being so high up. But as goals against is marked against defenders, Rudiger has hardly played compared to Silva, who is rated as 6.95 – so this is why.
So who is at the other end of the scale?
Christian Pulisic (6.43), Callum Hudson-Odoi (6.57) and Kai Havertz (6.72) have all not featured too much as of yet, but they will be looking to get their ratings up with some more consistent performances when they get a chance.
