World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe could reportedly become the new cover-star for EA’s annual FIFA game, FIFA 21. The PSG star was supposedly competing with teammate Neymar over the opportunity to become the new face of the new version of the famous game.
Mbappe has had an incredible season with PSG, winning the Ligue 1 title, as well as taking home the golden boot award for most goals (18).
PSG also see themselves in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League and await their return in August. This came after their amazing win over two-legs against Borussia Dortmund with Neymar scoring twice over the legs.
Mbappe meanwhile has made strides in become one of the top footballers on the planet and is not set to appear on FIFA 21’s cover at the age of 21.

News publication, PSG Culture, as quoted by Sportbible said, “French international and PSG attacker Kylian Mbappe has been chosen by EA Sports as the cover player for their FIFA 21 video game.”
They also revealed that EA were considering two choices between Mbappe and his teammate Neymar but eventually decided to keep the World Cup winner on the cover.
Previously, the FIFA 20 cover was donned by Eden Hazard, after joining Real Madrid from Chelsea last summer.
